WoGo: Development of a Local Skilled Worker Search and Booking Application

The growing demand for convenient and
reliable home services has motivated the development of WoGo,
a mobile and web application that connects customers with
technicians quickly, transparently, and securely. The system aims
to address the limitations of traditional service booking methods,
such as difficulties in finding suitable technicians, lack of trans-
parency in pricing and quality, and challenges in tracking service
progress in real time. WoGo is developed based on a robust client-
server architecture, using React Native for the mobile application,
Next.js for the web interface, and Spring Boot for the backend
server. Data is managed with MySQL, enhanced by Redis for
caching and Amazon Web Services Simple Storage Service for
multimedia storage to ensure high performance and scalability.
