AI-Powered Smart Platform for Room Rental Management and Search in Vietnam

In the context of rapid urbanization in Vietnam, the demand for transparent and intelligent room rental platforms has significantly increased, especially in major cities such as Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. However, existing solutions remain limited in data transparency, identity verification, and integrated payment services. This paper presents Nha Chung—an AIpowered web platform designed to support room rental management and intelligent searching. The system is developed using a client–server architecture with Next.js, React, and TailwindCSS for the frontend, and NestJS with MongoDB for the backend. It integrates ZaloPay for cashless payments, AWS S3 and Cloudinary for document and media storage, and Redis for caching. To enhance reliability and safety, the platform applies FPT.AI’s OCR and Face Match technologies for user identity verification, and combines ElasticSearch with Gemini AI to enable semantic search through natural language queries. The implemented solution improves rental efficiency by providing smart recommendations, secure transactions, and real-time management features.
