Building an AI-Based Dental Appointment and Treatment Scheduling Website for Tan Tam Dental Clinic to Enhance Communication Efficiency

In the context of digital transformation in the healthcare sector, the application of modern technologies to improve service quality and customer experience has become increasingly essential. This study presents the design and development of an AI-based dental appointment and treatment scheduling website for Tan Tam Dental Clinic, aiming to optimize patient management and enhance communication between patients and the clinic. The system provides a user-friendly interface that allows patients to easily register, book appointments, and access their medical history. It also supports doctors and staff in managing schedules, patient records, and treatment processes efficiently. A key feature of the system is the integration of an AI chatbot, which assists users by providing basic dental consultations, answering frequently asked questions, and suggesting appropriate services based on symptoms. Technically, the system is developed using modern web technologies including React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS for the frontend, and NestJS, Node.js, and PostgreSQL for the backend. Additional tools such as JWT for authentication, WebSocket for real-time updates, Cloudinary for media management, and SendGrid for email notifications are also integrated. The proposed system contributes to improving operational efficiency, reducing manual workload, and enhancing patient experience, thereby supporting the digital transformation process in dental healthcare services.
