APPLYING N8N AND RETRIEVAL-AUGMENTED GENERATION TO A ROOM RENTAL SHARING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Rapid population growth in large urban areas has significantly increased the demand for rental accommodations, especially among students and migrant workers. However, the current process of searching for rental rooms still faces many challenges due to fragmented information across different platforms, lack of transparency, and difficulties in verifying the reliability of listings. To address these issues, this study proposes the development of an intelligent room rental search system using modern technologies such as ReactJS, Django, n8n, and SQLite. In this system, n8n plays an important role in automating data processing workflows, integrating multiple services, and improving operational efficiency, while the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) model is incorporated to enhance contextual search and recommendation capabilities. The proposed platform aims to improve development efficiency and provide a better user experience by offering personalized rental suggestions based on users’ actual needs. In addition, features such as user identity verification and a transparent review system are implemented to increase trust and security during rental transactions. Experimental results indicate that the proposed solution effectively improves query quality, enhances user experience, and contributes to the development of a smarter, more modern, and sustainable rental ecosystem.
