Virtual Reality Applications in Education with Integrated Behavior Monitoring and RealTime Interaction Analysis

Exploring the Potential Applications of Virtual Reality (VR) in the Educational Context by Presenting a Specific Case Study: The Design, Implementation, and Initial Evaluation of an Interactive 360° Virtual Campus Tour System on the Web. The system, built using WebVR (A-Frame), Node.js, and MongoDB, offers an immersive exploration experience with 360° panoramic images, interactive hotspots, and audio narration. We present the system architecture, the practical implementation process for 22 locations, and initial evaluation results regarding usability and engagement from the target user group. Based on the evaluation results, the paper discusses the current effectiveness of the system as a tool for educational support and remote admissions, and proposes future development prospects for VR applications in educational institutions, including user behavior analysis through real access logs, personalized experiences, and deeper integration into the teaching and learning process.
